Website manager fined 500 manats for false information
Baku/13.01.22/Turan: The head of the jamaz.info website Ibishbeyli Fikret (Fikret Faramazoglu) has been fined 500 manats, the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan said in a statement. The investigation of the Directorate of Non-Criminal Proceedings revealed that Ibishbeyli Fikret posted inaccurate information on his website jamaz.info about the shelling of the city of Shusha from Khankendi.
In this regard, on January 12 administrative proceedings were instituted against him in line with Article 388-1.1.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences.
The collected materials were sent to the court. On the same day, Ibishbeyli was fined 500 manats by the decision of the Sabunchu district court.
The site manager wrote on his Facebook page that he did not agree with the court decision and intends to file an appeal.-06D-
