What is the reason for strengthening security measures in the Baku subway?
The Baku metro for several weeks makes an announcement: "Dear passengers, be careful. Report suspicious persons and objects left behind. " "This additional preventive measures are taken to enhance the safety of passengers," said the representative of subway.
It should be noted that after the strengthening of terrorist threats in the region at all stations of the Baku subway police check carry-on luggage of passengers by using metal detectors. There were two terrorist attacks in the Baku Metro in the 90s , organized by the Armenian special services.
