Witnesses reject testimonies against Hilal Mamedov
Today at a closed trial in the case of Hilal Mammadov, the editor of "Tolyshi Sado", floor was given to three prosecution witnesses, said the lawyer Cavad Cavadli, which did not disclose the names of witnesses as the trial was closed.
Cavadli said that the prosecution itself is falling apart. "All three witnesses said today that they do not understand why they want to convict Hilal Mammadov, and described him as an honest intelligent man, and a scholar," said Cavadli.
The next trial will be on 6 March.
Hilal Mammadov is accused of treason, drug possession and inciting hatred.—06D-
