Ali Abbasov: "Azerbaijan should actively cooperate with the countries of Asia"
Azerbaijan is an attractive market, not only for Europe, but also Japan and other countries in Asia and the Pacific.
As said in his address to the Azerbaijan-Japan Seminar of the Space Sector the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov, he appreciated the proposal of Japan to cooperate in the space industry.
"Azerbaijan is a market for the supply of technology products from the countries of the Pacific region, particularly from Japan. We, in turn, are interested in joint cooperation with Japan on regional markets, that is, cooperation in third countries.
According to him, the cooperation with Japan will have a positive impact on bilateral trade and increase competition in Azerbaijan.
The Minister stressed that Azerbaijan is interested in large-scale co-operation with the countries of the Pacific region in the space industry. "We would be glad to start cooperation in this field with Japan. This market is the largest and most technologically advanced, and not as limited as the European one," said the head of the Communications Ministry.
According to the Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan Shusuke Vatanabe, it is appropriate to use human resources for the sustainable and comprehensive development of Azerbaijan. - 17D-
