JSC Azersu accused Gilan Holding of theft
Employees of the Department of Customers of Azersu JSC revealed illegal connection to the water supply network by LLC ALKO LTD-AZER SPIRT. The official statement of the water company said that an illegal water pipe with a diameter of 150 mm was eliminated, and the company was fined in the amount of AZN 195 436.80.
Ltd. ALKO LTD-AZER SPIRT is located in the Khatai district of Baku at 28 Zykh Highway. According to the corporate website of the group of companies Gilan Holding, it is part of the holding company and is engaged in the production of edible alcohol, vodka and yeasts.
From the 1st of January to the 20th of February this year Azersu found 178 cases of illegal connections to the water and sewerage network. The violators of the water infrastructure were fined in the amount of 473 thousand manats. - 08B-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
