Yet another fact of issuing fake COVID-19 passports revealed
Baku/17.08.21/Turan: The fact of issuing fake COVID-19 was revealed in the polyclinic No. 11 of the Sabunchi district of Baku, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan stated.
During a joint inspection led by the main directorate for combating corruption under the Prosecutor General and the main directorate for combating organized crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was found that doctors issued fake vaccination certificates for money without carrying out vaccinations.
A criminal case has been initiated over the fact in line with Articles 308.1 (abuse of official powers) and 313 (official forgery) of the Criminal Code.
Intensive actions are presently being carried out to identify persons guilty of criminal acts.—16D-
