Техран Мансимов
For many years, one of the activities of the Armenian propaganda and secret services of Armenia has been work with ethnic minorities in Azerbaijan. The Armenians did not hide the fact that in the event of hostilities they were counting on the desertion of Lezgins, Talysh, Avars, Russians and other minorities from the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
The Armenians spent a lot of effort and money to turn them against the Azerbaijani state, instill in them the idea that this is not their war, that the Armenians are not their enemies, that their rights are also violated in Azerbaijan, as well as the rights of Armenians.
Visiting Armenia in 2019, I was surprised how firmly the Armenians themselves believe in all this, claiming that the war will end almost as soon as it starts. The Azerbaijani army consists of 80% of Lezgins and Talysh, who will not fight, so the Armenians will win immediately, solid-looking interlocutors convinced me...
Watching the videos filmed by our soldiers at the front, watching the citizens of the country celebrating our victory, you realize the truth that Azerbaijan, these people have never been as united as they are today.
A significant role in our victory belongs to all representatives of national minorities who were in the forefront and displayed mass heroism. Suffice it to mention the battles for the liberation of Shushi, where the Lezgins were in the forefront.
These days, photos and videos are published on the Internet with the names of martyrs, heroes who forged our victory, and the public should know them.
Suffice it to mention the name of the colonel, native of the Gusar region, Tehran Mansimov, who led his secret forces detachment to Shusha.
We would like also to mention the Lieutenant Colonel Rashad Aslanov distinguished himself, who hung the flag of Azerbaijan in the area of the tower in the upper part of Shusha. The officers, brothers Amirbek and Babek Ramaldanovs (Babek became a martyr).
Shahid Senior Lieutenant Sarraf Imamaliyev from the village of Anikh, Gusar region, who was wounded, did not stay in the hospital and returned to battle.
Shahid Anver Shikhaliyev from Khurel village, Shahid Ramil from Kehnia Khudat village, Javad Seyidov.
We cannot now list all our fighters. I am sure that they were not just doing their duty, but were proud that they were defending the honor and dignity of their country and did not separate themselves from everyone else.
We hope that the merits of these and all our other fighters will be appreciated; their names will become symbols of courage and patriotism. By their example, the younger generation will be brought up.
Glory to all our heroes!
