Weekly Political Review
-
Between March 9 and March 15, the political agenda in Azerbaijan was largely shaped by the regional security situation following the drone attack on Nakhchivan on March 5, the management of tensions with Iran through diplomatic channels, as well as international political events held in Baku and domestic political discussions.

From March 2 to March 8, the political agenda in Azerbaijan was largely shaped by three directions: decisions in the sphere of public administration and infrastructure, the intensification of energy diplomacy with Europe, and a sharp tightening of the agenda in the areas of security and foreign policy after a drone strike on Nakhchivan on March 5. Beginning in the second half of the week, the domestic political tone shifted toward issues of security, sovereignty, and international support.
