Attempt for revenge will be suicide for Armenians - Ilham Aliyev
Baku/31.12.20/Turan: Azerbaijan is constructing a building for the Monitoring Center in the Agdam region, which will be ready in a maximum of two weeks, said the head of state Ilham Aliyev, receiving on December 31 Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and a delegation of the Turkish military.
“As far as I know, the Turkish side is ready to start operations. You are probably in contact with Russia. The sooner the Monitoring Center goes live, the better, because about two months after the war, threats still exist. The uncontrolled armed forces of Armenia operate on our territory, and some of them do not want to leave. Hence this threat. There should be a Monitoring Center to eliminate and ensure peace and stability in the region as a whole, because, unfortunately, some political forces in Armenia adhere to revanchist views, openly declare that one day they will start a war against Azerbaijan and occupy Azerbaijani lands. It would be suicide for them. Such attempts will be stopped immediately on the spot. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct monitoring and control in the region, and I am sure that the Turkish-Russian center will fulfill this function with honor,” - Aliyev norted. -02D-
