The traditional Baku International Jazz Festival will be held in Baku October 16-25 under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and the Culture Fund of Azerbaijan. The festival will be held in the Palace named after Heydar Aliyev, the State Philharmonic, Mugam Centre and Jazz Center. Famous musicians performing include Mike Stern (USA), Gonzalo Rubalcaba (Cuba-USA), Glenn Miller Jazz Orchestra (conducted by Ville Salda), Carmen Souza (Portugal), Alexander Mashin (Russia), H30 (Switzerland), Luciano Biondini (Italy), Grzegorz Karnas (Poland), a trio of "Breeze of Saucasus" (Georgia), Kool and the Gang (USA), Esra Dalfidan (Netherlands), Vyacheslav Gryaznov (Russia), Salman Gambarov, Rayin Sultanov, Isfar Sarabski, Emil Afrasiyab , Natig Shirinov, Tofig Jabbarov, Afghan Rasul, Elchin Shirinov, and more.
