Casting in Sumgait to participate in "Eurovision 2014 "
Baku/10.01.14/Turan : The first casting of the vocal show “Big Stage”, the winner of which will represent Azerbaijan at "Eurovision - 2014" on Thursday was held successfully in Sumgait .
Dozens of participants competed , trying to impress the jury with songs mostly by foreign artists: Riana , Elvis Presley, Shakira , Maroon 5, Katy Perry.
In the end, the jury selected seven participants who passed the second round , which will be held in Baku on 15-16 January .
Total auditions will be held in eight cities and Azerbaijan , including the capital.
In casting can take part any vocal singer (group ) , who is 16 years old .
In the group may be a maximum six participants. Vocalist (group) should be able to perform two songs , one in Azerbaijani (required ) and one in English (preferably.)
Before a singer (group ) must provide soundtrack of compositions, which they will perform - without backing vocals. Also at the request of the singer is available selected songs a cappella (without a soundtrack.)
The winner of the show "Big Stage" will represent Azerbaijan at "Eurovision" in Copenhagen (Denmark) from May 6 to 10.—06D--

Ahmet Güneştekin answered questions from Turan Information Agency a few days after the opening of his solo exhibition, Lost Alphabet, held in the 8,000-square-meter indoor halls of the Feshane Cultural Center, managed by the Istanbul Municipality. The exhibition, inaugurated by Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, will remain open until July 20.
