Azerbaijani citizen arrested for organizing a terrorist attack in Pyatigorsk
On 27 December a car bomb was detonated in Pyatigorsk, Russia, killing three people. The power of the explosion was 50 kg of TNT. On January 10 for the organization of the attack were arrested six people, said the Anti-Terrorism Committee of the Russian Federation .
"As a result of a set of operational measures, persons suspected of these crimes were detained: Atayev Geybulla Murad oglu , born in 1988 , a citizen of Azerbaijan ; Khalizov Ramadan Vladimirovich , born in 1983 ; Khalizov Vladimir Nikolaevich , 1953 ; Abdulazizov Shamil Abdulazizovich , born in 1991 ; Gazimagomedov Shamil Gazimagomedovich , born in 1988 ; Ibragimov Magomed Zelimhanovich, 1991," the statement said.
The detainees have confessed, which prevented another terrorist crimes," said the Anti-Terrorist Centre of the Russian Federation. -02D

On Monday, the Baku Appeals Court considered the appeal of Talysh researcher Iqbal Abilov against the extension of his detention for another four months. The defense argued that the decision to extend Abilov's detention was unjustified, lawyer Fariz Namazly told reporters.
