Czech ecological film to be presented in Baku on 22 April
Baku/15.04.22/Turan: The Czech Embassy and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan will commemorate the Earth Day on 22 April, 16:30 by public screening of an ecological documentary film „Places of Life“ by the Czech film director Jakub Skalický at the Landmark Baku Cine Club, with Azerbaijani and English subtitles.
At specific examples from the Czech Republic, „Places of Life“ tells a story of landscape recovery after systematic exploitation by mining, highlights the importance of biotopes and shows ways to restore them. The screening takes place as a follow-up event to the international EKOFILM festival, organized annually under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic.
Participation is free of charge; please come at least 15 minutes before the screening.—0—

Ahmet Güneştekin answered questions from Turan Information Agency a few days after the opening of his solo exhibition, Lost Alphabet, held in the 8,000-square-meter indoor halls of the Feshane Cultural Center, managed by the Istanbul Municipality. The exhibition, inaugurated by Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, will remain open until July 20.
