Farid Mammadov Reached the Final of Eurovision - 2013
21-year-old Farid Mammadov representing Azerbaijan at Eurovision - 2013, reached the final of the competition, which takes place in the Swedish city of Malmo.
He participates in the competition with a romantic ballad, Hold Me, written by Dimitris Kontopoulos with the words by John Ballard and Ralph Charlie.
From the age of 6 years old, Farid Mammadov has been on the stage, he is the leading singer of Bulbullar under the direction of the Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Aybaniz Hashimova.
He performs Azerbaijani national music, as well as acts in a pop style.
Apart from Mamedov, the second semi-final was won by performers from Hungary, Georgia, Romania, Norway, Iceland, Armenia, Finland, Malta and Greece.
