Azerbaijan Writers Union presented an anthology of contemporary poetry of Azerbaijan and Georgia titled "Flows of the Aragvi and the Kura."
This is the third joint creative project of Georgia and Azerbaijan in the series "Literary Bridges." Two years earlier, they published an anthology titled "Contact," earlier - "Red Bridge" which included prose by authors of the two countries.
The success of the collaboration was made possible due to the assistance of two creative organizations - PEN Georgia and Azerbaijan Culture Association "Ray."
The third compilation "Flows of the Aragvi and the Kura" was published with the participation and support of the Institute of Strategic Studies of the Caucasus.
In addressing the meeting, Secretary of the Writers Union Nazim Ibrahimov said that recently achieved consolidation of writers of the CIS countries is a good trend in the development of relations between nations.
Charge d' Affaires of Georgia Irakli Svanidze expressed his gratitude to the organizers and publishers of the anthology "Flows of the Aragvi and the Kura", which became another valuable contribution to the development of cultural relations between the two brotherly countries. -02D-
