For four years, mortality from diseases of the nervous system has doubled
Over the past three years, double increased the mortality due to disorders of the nervous system. In 2009, due to diseases of the nervous system 687 people died, in 2010, they were 789, in 2011 - 1,284, and in 2012 - 1,338 people, the State Statistics Committee told Turan.
In 2012 in Azerbaijan, 5,886 died of cancer, accounting for 10.7% of deaths. In 2011, the figure was 11.1% and in 2009 - 13.1%. However, cancer is still in the second place in the structure of mortality.

SSC results in mortality statistics for the last 12 years, the analysis of which shows that some of the disease in the country are becoming smaller.
