Opportunity to Study at Universities in Germany
Last Saturday a meeting was held with youth on the theme: "Education in Germany" at the Kapellhaus building of the German-Azerbaijan Cultural Association. The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in partnership with local youth NGOs organized the meeting. The purpose of the event was to provide information on study opportunities in Germany. In particular, young Azerbaijanis can take advantage of the scholarship programs of DAAD, including a master's degree, research exchange, as well as summer courses in German and acquaintance with German culture and traditions.
Heidrun Tempel, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, spoke about the benefits of education of Azerbaijani youth in her country. -06D-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
