Representatives from Germany to perform at the Music Festival named after Gara Garayev
Within the framework of the 5th International Music Festival, dedicated to the memory of famous Azerbaijani composer, Gara Garayev (1918-1982), to be held in Baku on April 14-19, performances by musicians from Germany will take place.
At the initiative of the composer Elmir Mirzoyev, who lives in Germany and Azerbaijan, the choreography by Jens Kagel of Avatar Dance Company from Cologne city, will be presented, according to the Embassy of Germany in Baku.
The choreography will be performed on April 18 at the Theater of Young Spectators by the accordionist Eva Zelner accompanied by Bakı Con Tempo Ensemble, directed by the Ukrainian conductor, Vladimir Runchak. The German pianist, Nicolaus Rehrotch and Akkrosh Not from Strasbourg, and Asko Schoenberg, from Amsterdam, will also perform.
In addition, the German Embassy, the German-Azerbaijani cultural association will organize on April 12 at 19:00 in "Chapel House" a solo concert by the accordionist Eva Zelner.
