Political analyst Azer Gasimli expressed this opinion in an interview with Turan's "Difficult Question" program, commenting on the scandal around intimate shots, allegedly from the private life of the daughter of Jamil Hasanli, the head of the National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF).
“This is not the first case of interference in the private life of opposition politicians or journalists or their children, and no one has been held accountable for this,” Gasimli said. Usually, such incriminating evidence is used to silence journalists, political and public activists. However, in the case of Jamil Hasanli, the authorities most likely want to divert public attention, Gasimli said. However, the authorities miscalculated and faced harsh condemnation and outrage from society. "Such things cause a boomerang effect, and it happened now," he said.
Gasimli is convinced that the authorities are involved in the dissemination of this video; otherwise, the culprit would have been announced long ago. Faced with a negative public reaction, the authorities, through controlled media, tried to deny their involvement in this video.
To prevent this from happening, a change of power is necessary through elections, the control functions of the parliament are strengthened, the powers of the executive power are narrowed, the rule of law, rights and freedoms of citizens are ensured, Gasimli stressed. -05D06-
