ABTC provides training for insurers
Azerbaijan Bank Training Centre (ABTC) believes that the potential is not yet exhausted the needs of insurance companies in the training of its personnel.
The Centre (http://www.abtc.az/index.php?ind=newsfull&id=80) on June 10, 2013 starts training insurers. In June and July they will hold 10 courses relevant to the insurance industry topics.
The classes will address the most urgent problems of health and property insurance, frequently asked questions related to insurance law.
Courses relate not only to employees of insurance companies, but bank employees, hospital staff, insurance brokers and agents, specialists in related industries.
Classes will be conducted not only by local experts, but also of the Institute of Insurance in Turkey (a leader in training in the Turkish market).

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met today with Ahmed Moallim Figi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia, at the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry. This meeting followed a discussion held the previous day between Figi and Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov.
