AIC Unveiled Plans for Near Future
Baku/11.09.13/Turan : Neither this nor the next year Azerbaijan Investment Company (AIC) has any plans to leave the invested projects, Turan was told by the executive director of the AIC Rovshan Najafov.
The company was established in 2006 to support the non-oil sector and has a stake in several companies in the fields of shipbuilding industry ( cement, chicken , dairy products) , agriculture , etc. AIC also provides co-investment in the Caspian International Investment Company (CIIC).
In 2012, AIC came out of two projects , which had a 25% equity participation . According to Rovshan Najafov, the company has a certain amount of money and is considering several investment projects.
AIC capital is 170 million manat. The company does not publish annual financial statements and audit reports on them , so that there is no information about its capital resources and dividend income from equity companies. - 08B-
