Approved Security Rules of Information Systems of Local Banks
the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has approved the rules of the security of information systems in local banks, the text of which is published on the single website of the state regulations.
According to the innovation, the basic requirements for information systems (IS) and information technology (IT) is the effective management of risks arising in connection with IS and IT problems of banks, the existence of procedures of consistent IS activity in emergency, distribution of authorities among bank employees in connection with the use and management of IS and IT, appointment of system administrators and security administrators in banks, etc.
The requirements also contain sections on data entry in IS procedures in emergency situations, risk management and information security. The section on Information Security includes requirements for the bank's servers and the rooms where the servers are, functions of the users and administrators of IS, and the use of cryptographic protection systems. --17D-
