AtaBank POS terminal network will expand to 10 thousand units
AtaBank OJSC is planning this year to commission additional 8 ATMs and 700 POS terminals, bringing the total number of these equipments to 80 and 10,000 units, respectively.
As deputy chairman Etibar Babashli said, in the reported period, the bank expects issuance of plastic cards of international payment system MasterCard International, a principal member of which they were at the end of last year.
Today, the bank has 9.3 thousand POS terminals, including 2.3 thousand devices in the regions, as well as 72 ATMs. The total number of active cards is 23.3 thousand.
Recall that, since May 2006, the Bank is a principal member of Visa International and has been issuing debit and credit cards Visa Electron, Visa Electron Vertical, Visa Electron Aroma, Visa Electron Solo, Visa Classic, Visa Classic Solo, Visa Gold, Business and Platinum. - 15B -
