Azal expands flights to other two cities of the CIS
The State Air Company "Azerbaijan Airlines" has announced plans to implement regular direct flights to the two cities of the CIS in the fourth quarter of this year.
Starting from October 26, there will be flights from Baku to Bishkek. Flights will be operated by aircraft type “Airbus” on Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Currently, citizens of Azerbaijan fly to Bishkek charter flights.
On November 3 the company will resume regular flights Baku-Astrakhan-Baku on Mondays and Tuesdays. Flights will be performed by the aircraft type “Embraer.”
Accordinfg to AZAL , that today the airline operates local and international flights to 36 posts of the city, including 10 cities in Russia.
According to statistics, the passenger transport activities are unprofitable for the CJSC "Azerbaijan Airlines." At the same time the airline is one of the state-owned commercial structures, which does not disclose its financial report. --08D--

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
