Azerbaijani oil pumping via BTC decreased by 2% since early year
In August 2015 2,205,834 tons of Azerbaijani oil has been shipped from the Turkish port Ceyhan against 2,382,065 tons in July 2015. Azerbaijani oil shipment has decreased by 7.4%.
SOCAR reported that from January to August 2015 19,157,62 tons of Azerbaijani oil has been transported via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, down 2.2% against the same period in 2014.
Since launching of the pipeline on June 4, 1996 till September 1, 2015 a total of 282,982,359 tons of oil has been pumped, reported SOCAR.
In August 2015 347,005 tons of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan oil was transported via BTC.
280,837,886 tons of Azerbaijani oil has been shipped from the Ceyhan terminal since launching of the BTC oil pipeline.—0—
