Ministry of Labor Launches New Concept of Youth Employment
Baku hosts an international seminar on "evaluation of policies, programs and institutions in the field of youth employment". The event was organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, together with representatives of the International Labor Organization.
According to the performance of the profile minister Salim Muslimov, his organization has begun to develop a new concept of youth employment component, in his words, 28.5% of the population.
"Currently, in accordance with the existing conditions and demographic changes and the prospects for development and economic priorities of the country, the concept of employment is developed in order to create long-term employment policy. This concept will play an important role in raising the employment rate of young people," he said. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
