Baku Opens Exhibition Baku Build 2016
Tomorrow, on October 19 at the Baku Expo Centre opens the 22nd Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition Baku Build 2016. In parallel, the Aquatherm Baku and Securika CIPS exhibitions will be held.
This year Baku Build is attended by 298 companies from 26 countries. The national pavilions are from Italy, Iran and the UAE. Collective stands belong to companies from France. A large group of Turkish producers are involved. Azerbaijani companies, including manufacturers, distributors and companies providing services in the construction industry account for 50% of the exhibitors.
As usual, Baku Build 2016 covers a wide range of building materials, ceramics, finishing stone, marble, paints, windows and doors, interior, roofing and flooring, works with metal and bronze, and construction machinery. At a special outdoor area Expo Center, adjacent to the complex, is the latest construction equipment.
The difference this year will be the active participation of furniture companies from Azerbaijan, Italy, Ukraine and other countries.
The organizers of the exhibition are the British company ITE Group and its partner Iteca Caspian.
The Caspian Construction Week will shut down on 22 October. ---08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met today with Ahmed Moallim Figi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia, at the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry. This meeting followed a discussion held the previous day between Figi and Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov.
