Baku to host the XXIV Eurasian Cement Conference
Baku/18.10.13/Turan : Baku is to host the XXIV Eurasian Cement Conference, with Norm Co. as general partner. The event will be attended by over 70 representatives from 15 countries. The event will also be an exhibition of construction equipment and materials.
The company Norm, promoting global standards cement industry in Azerbaijan , established relationships and working closely with the international cement associations, such as the VDZ ( Germany ), TCMB ( Turkey), SoyuzTsem , BusinessCem, and PetroCem ( Russia ) .
The conference , organized by the Russian cement forum BusinessCem and conducted under the General Partnership Company Norm, is an example. The cement industry is being integrated and global industry , requires a concerted effort to identify and resolve problems that impede the effective development of this sphere. From this perspective, the conference has a great value and an opportunity for the exchange of experience in advanced technologies. Experts of the production, use and sale of cement and building materials will be able to open a constructive dialogue at the event .

The plant uses modern technology , installed equipment from leading manufacturers in Germany , France, Switzerland and the Netherlands. At present, construction work on the plant completed and begin production of the first cement. Full commissioning of the plant is planned by the end of 2013. -06D -

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
