Bank Standard Reduced Activity in Several Positions
In the first three quarters of the year Bank Standard consumer loans reduced by 6.5% to 101 million 799.2 AZN. The reduction has been observed in several positions. Since the beginning of the year the deposit portfolio has been pressed down by 0.8% to 715 million 784.98 thousand manat, especially household deposits (minus 6%) - to 544 million 414.01 thousand manat. The cumulative capital became 3.7% less, amounting to 50 million 743.82 thousand.
Other positions either increased or remained unchanged. For example, assets grew by 5.3% to 1 billion 187 million 109.77 thousand manat, credit policy has become more active by 11%, while the total portfolio was 899 million 502.8 thousand manat.
The liabilities grew by 5.8% to 1 billion 131 million 24 thousand manat. The authorized capital remained unchanged since the beginning of the year – AZN 75 million. With all the indicators, the bank worked with a loss of 1 million 237 thousand manat in January-September.

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less. This robust reserve position reflects Azerbaijan's fiscal stability and the government’s strategic economic management.
