Caspian gas export to be focus of attention at forum in Istanbul
The Southern Gas Corridor project will be a focus of attention at the Caspian Forum 2013, which will take place in Istanbul on December 4-5, 2013, reads the information posted on the web site of the Caspian Strategy Institute, which is the organizer of the forum.
The Caspian Forum is the platform, which studies economic, political and strategic potential of the Caspian Sea region, and is used to define the fields of cooperation and partnership.
The Forum is aimed at creation of the space for multilateral cooperation and prevention of geopolitical rivalry. The unique conditions of the Caspian Forum contribute to the common vision of the issues of security, economy and energy in the region.
According to the Caspian Forum web site, officials, representatives of the scientific circles, business agencies, politics and representatives of non-governmental organizations around the world will take part the Forum.
The Southern Gas Corridor project will help Europe to diversify its sources of hydrocarbons deliveries and will also help Azerbaijan to get a new market in the face of Europe. The Southern Gas Corridor is a big project, which will satisfy demands of the European consumers in gas for decades to come.—0—

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
