Caspian region development to be discussed at forum in Istanbul
; The specialists in fields of energy and transport, politicians and businessmen and representatives of civil institutions from various countries will take part at the Forum.
Caspian Forum, where the Caspian region development will be discussed, will open in Istanbul on Wednesday, said Haldoon Yavash, General Secretary the Caspian Strategic Studies Institute, told RIA Novosti.
“Owing to the huge energy resources and developed transport corridors, the Caspian region is on the agenda of the world politics and economy. At the third forum in Istanbul it is planned to discuss development of Caspian fields, transport infrastructure projects and the issues related to the energy safety in the region,” he said.
“Ministers from Turkey as well as high-ranking representatives from Balkan countries, European Union and USA will take part at the Forum. The representatives of the countries, through which the strategic trans-Adriatic pipeline (TAP) will be laid, also plan to attend the forum,” Yavash said.
The first Caspian Forum was organized by the Caspian Strategic Studies Institute in Istanbul in 2012. The second one was held in New York in September 2013, reported http://ria.ru.--0--

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
