CJSC Azerbaijani Railways earned AZN 6 million book profit
In the first nine months of this year, the state of CJSC Azerbaijani Railways (ARW) got the best of cargo and passenger transportation 168.5 million manat. After taking into account tax profit operator of rail transport was 6 million manat.
Chairman of the Board of JSC ARW Arif Askerov, speaking in the official press, said that the bulk of revenues (157.3 million manat) accounted for freight. Since the beginning of the year were transported by railway 17.1 million tons of cargo. The share of passenger traffic accounted for 11.2 million manat. From delivery to the destination of one passenger there was bailed 5.90 manat.
In the framework of the project "Support Rail Trade and Transport" this year has been overhauled 110.8 km railway to the main rail Baku - Boyuk Kesik. Total in 2011-13 years was repaired 281.1 of 317 kilometers of roads in need of repair at the site. - 08D -
