Customs Collect 209.5 Million Manat for State Budget
In January and February of this year, according to the State Customs Committee (SCC) the transfer to the state budget of 209 million 530 thousand manat was provided. This is 6.5% more than in the same period last year.
According to the SCC, in February of this year, the amount of customs duty was reduced in comparison with the previous month more than twofold to 15 million manat. Last month, customs officers provided customs fees mainly due to VAT - 82.5 million manat or 78% of the total customs revenue.
Within two months SCC provided transfer to the state budget of 14% of the funds provided for this year. To implement the plan (1 billion 590 million manat), the customs officers have to collect 132.5 million manat per month. Meanwhile this figure is 104.5 million manat. -----08D
