Death at a production site Baku Steel Company
At a production site of Baku Steel Company there was an accident with fatal consequences.
According to the Narimanov district police, a worker Gadir Akif oglu Gafarov (born in 1985 ) during repair work fell from a great height and died from his injuries on the spot yesterday.
The Narimanov District Prosecutor's Office opened a criminal case under Art. 162.2 of the Criminal Code (violation of safety rules, resulting in the death of a person ).
This is not the first accident at the steel production. But most of them are not reflected in the media.
According to official data of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, in 2013 in the whole country were recorded 155 accidents at work, with 71 killed and 120 injured .
The leadership belongs to the construction sector - as a result of 51 cases were recorded 27 deaths and 28 injuries. - 17D-
