Defined field of activity of PASHA Bank Georgia
National Bank of Georgia on January 17 issued a license to operate PASHA Bank Georgia - the first subsidiary of one of the leading banks of Azerbaijan - PASHA Bank.
According to the head before the current representation of PASHA Bank in Georgia Anar Ismailov, PASHA Bank Georgia will initially be focused on servicing the corporate sector, but in the future will cover the operation and the small and medium enterprises (SME) of the country. "In addition, it should be noted that at present Azerbaijan has a large number of companies, including those from the customer base, who work in Georgia, so our task is to support and serve their financial interests and needs, - said A. Ismailov. - Also between the banks in Georgia, there is a fairly tough competition, and this experience will be useful to us."
Note that the share capital of PASHA Bank Georgia is 35 million lari (about $ 21 million). According to the strategic plan, in the next 1-2 years, the bank aims to create assets not less than $ 60 million. PASHA Bank Georgia will be represented by one branch in Tbilisi located at Rustaveli Avenue 15. However, in the foreseeable future, to expand the network to the West Bank of Georgia, new offices will open in the cities of Batumi and Poti.
JSC Pasha Bank was created in June of 2007 and operates under license number 250 of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Republic dated 28 November of 2007. The primary objective is to strengthen leadership in the corporate customer service, quality improvement of business on priorities, strategy, as well as the creation and continued development of long-term and trusting relationship. -15D -
