During 6 months, 2016 SOCAR reduced gas production by 6%
During 6 months, 2016 SOCAR extracted 3,162,100,000 cub.m. of gas (this data also includes SOCAR’s shares in the joint projects), down 6.3% against the same period last year.
SOCAR reported that in June 2016 the company extracted 512 mcm of gas.
From January to June 2016 Azneft, SOCAR’s production company extracted 2.8 bcm of tank gas.
In 2015 SOCAR extracted 6,871,400,000 cub.m. of gas.—0—

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
