Enhanced Requirements for External Auditors
The site of regulations (http://huquqiaktlar.gov.az/StatementDetails.aspx?statementId=33373) published regulations requirements for external auditors of “players” licensed on the securities market of Azerbaijan.
According to the document, it means expanding the regulatory framework, which should be guided by local investment companies. Requirements require full compliance with the provision of the auditor's audit services and the existence of a corresponding length of at least 3 years.
In addition, auditors can be selected not a year, but up to 3 years, and the change can be declared no later than one month before the end of the reporting year. The requirements for external auditors are the same - they must be impartial, not give rise to a conflict of interest, not advertise the companies checked and so on - a total of 16 claims. --17D-
