Entrepreneurs in Sumgayit are in uncertainty
On 12 January a group of businessmen met with the representatives of the Executive power of Sumgayit and the city's Architecture Department. The subject of the meeting is uncertain due to disseminate information on the demolition of 17 commercial in the territory of the 3rd district.
"We were received in the Executive Power of the city, and were told that the rumors on the facilities from the monument to Heydar Aliyev to the Air cash office were unfounded," said entrepreneur Yusif Hamzaev, one of the participants in the meeting.
On January 9 a three-storey grocery market «En Ucuz» was devastated by its owner, who received oral instruction from the executive power on demolishing the facility.
On 11 January the information resources of Sumgait published an information that 17 trade objects will be demolished in the Mir Street, as well as the shopping center "Cavid Mall", which allegedly are illegal structures and do not fit into the general plan of the city. Entrepreneurs say they have a document on the ownership of these objects.
It was planned to lay the park, and the second - to build a parking lot, local media reported citing Executive Power of Sumgayit.
Entrepreneurs say that they are in uncertainty and do not know what to do.
At the meeting of the Cabinet meeting held on January 10 President Ilham Aliyev instructed the local authorities to assist in every way private entrepreneurs and encourage investments. 08B
