Exhibition season starts in April
In the spring and summer of 2013, Iteca Caspian will hold 10 exhibitions and a conference. An important event of this year is the 20th anniversary of the Caspian Oil and Gas.
The exhibition season will be opened by the 12th Azerbaijan International Exhibition "Tourism and Travel" AITF, which will be held from 4 to 6 April. AITF will present a variety of areas, from luxury vacations to medical tourism. For the first time this year, the exhibition will include the increasingly popular section "Property Abroad." The exhibition will bring together companies and organizations from 34 countries, 16 of which will make national stands. Along with the regular participants of the exhibition this year in Baku will be representatives of Morocco, Hungary, Slovenia, Thailand, Tunisia, France, and Montenegro. It is planned to hold a wide regional exhibition showcasing the tourism potential of Azerbaijan.
Hotel boom that Azerbaijan is going through in recent years, emphasizes the urgency of the 7th Caucasian International Exhibition "Everything for hotels, restaurants and supermarkets" HOREX Caucasus 2013, which will be held on the same days at the Baku Expo Center.
April 11 will launch the debut project of the year - Caspian International Exhibition and Conference "Technologies for water treatment and water treatment" CATEF 2013. CATEF expected to be participated by tech companies, suppliers, consumers, environmentalists, construction companies. Parallel exhibition at the Marriott is to host forum on new programs in the supply of drinking water, the use of modern technologies and innovations.
In spring and summer there will also be exhibitions WorldFood Azerbaijan (22-24 May), Caspian Oil and Gas, Caspian International Exhibition "Energy and Alternative Energy" (June 4-7), and other exhibitions. According to Iteca Caspian, already more than 70% of the exhibition space on oil and gas is occupied by world-renowned companies, which are regular exhibitors. Among them are: SOCAR, BP, Statoil, OMV, Total, Petkim, TPAO, RWE and others.
The first half-year will be completed by the 12th International Exhibition "Transport, Transit and Logistics" TransCaspian 2013 and 3rd Caspian International Exhibition "Road Infrastructure and Public Transport" Road & Traffic 2013, which will be held from June 13 to 15. - 08D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less. This robust reserve position reflects Azerbaijan's fiscal stability and the government’s strategic economic management.
