U.S. has once again called for a peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict
Official U.S. State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland called for a peaceful settlement to the Karabakh conflict.
Responding to a briefing on the issue of the Khojaly tragedy, Nuland said the United States, as co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group, is committed to the continuation of efforts to resolve the conflict.
"The tragic loss of life in the war between Armenia and Azerbaijan is reminiscent of the impossibility of a military solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Only a peaceful solution to the conflict in the region can bring lasting stability, progress and peace. As co-chair of the Minsk Group, the USA is committed to continue to work with the parties to the conflict," said Nuland. -06D--
