First Licenses Issued to Entrepreneurs through ASAN Khidmet
The Azerbaijan Ministry of Economic Development has begun to issue business licenses through the service ASAN Khidmet. On November 2, the service received 600 calls about the need to update the permit due to the expiration of the previous license, Deputy Minister Sahib Mammadov told reporters.
According to him, the first 57 statements were sent to the executive agencies. "Until this, licenses were issued for the provision of 59 business activities by 23 state bodies. In the coming days the government will approve a new, greatly simplified list of licensed activities," he said.
Before representatives of the media the first certificates from ASAN Khidmet were awarded. Their owners are services of carriage of goods and passengers. The official recommended them to wait for the introduction of new rules, as the types of business they prefer may not need licenses. --17D-
