Draft Master Plans of Two Cities Submitted to Their Inhabitants for Judgment
The State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture (SCUPA) presented to the citizens the draft master plans of the cities Shamkir and Goychay. According to the Code of Town Planning and Construction, the comments and suggestions of residents and entrepreneurs can be considered within 60 days.
The draft master plans of Shamkir and Goychay are at the executive power in these cities. However, as revealed Turan, the local authorities did not inform the public on the Internet if they have these documents.
The Head of the Department of Urban Development in SCUPA Anar Bayramov told Turan the suggestions coming from the citizens and businesses are discussed in the department, and, if accepted, agreed by the interested state bodies and submitted for approval to the Cabinet.
To date, the master plans of 32 cities have been approved. At the stage of development are the master plans of five cities (Mingachevir, Masalli, Goygol, Shirvan and Gusar). The next master plans are for the city of Naftalan and the Regional Development Plan of Greater Baku. --08B-
