First Meeting of the Supervisory Board of the State Fund for Development of Information Technology
BAKU/10.09.13/TURAN : The date of the first meeting of the Supervisory Board of the State Fund for Development of Information Technology in the Ministry of Communications of Azerbaijan has not been determined , but we know that it will take place September 15.
According to the ministry , the first session will focus on forms of contracts under the grant competitions and their terms and conditions , as well as other matters.
The Supervisory Board consists of : Deputy Minister of MCIT Elmir Velizadeh, Deputy Minister of Education Jeyhun Bayramov, Department Head of the Ministry of Finance Firdovsi Khalilov, head of the department of Strategic Planning of the Ministry of Economic Development Samad Bashirli, chairman of the Internet community of Azerbaijan Galib Gurbanov , the head of Azerbaijan Internet Forum Osman Gunduz and head of the Center for Information Yashar Hajiyev .
At the end of the year it is expected to start the fund and the announcement of the first competition of the grant . The competition will be the preference given to projects to develop new innovative products and infrastructures , GRIN technologies , development of information and communication technologies ( ICT) and Internet services. - 17D-
