Forum will be held in the autumn of construction OGPC

November 5-6, Baku will host the second forum dedicated to the project of building oil and gas refining and petrochemical complex (OGPC).

According to the report on the website of the state oil company (SOCAR), during the event will discuss issues related to the use of equipment and services to oil and gas, financial, economic and legal issues related to projects in the field of oil and gas and petrochemical industries, trends in logistics experience of local contractors in the implementation of large-scale projects, etc.

During the forum, scheduled are performances by SOCAR vice president for strategic development Tofig Gahramanov, presidential adviser SOCAR Afgan Isayev, deputy general director of OGPC Emil Alkhasly, executive director of the project of the construction of the Star refinery in Turkey, Robert Storey and other professionals.

Previously with reference to SOCAR vice president for strategic development Tofig Gahramanov it was reported that the company plans to begin construction of OGPC in 2015 in the Garadagh district of Baku. Putting into operation is planned for 2023-2025 years.
