Four tasks for the Ministry of Communications and ICT
The sector of Information and Communication Technologies in the next 5 years we will have to meet four primary objectives.
According to the Minister of Communications and ICT Ali Abbasov, the first of them is the development of network infrastructure by the end of 2017, a high-speed broadband optical and wireless network for mobile and fixed networks , and ensuring adherence to the network every citizen, all workers and households , raising up to the level of developed countries. Also provides for the expansion of the use of all types of digital broadcasting in radio and television services and to bring to every citizen.
The second objective is to ensure the production of innovative and competitive products and services aimed at application in the development of the economic sector digital electronics and nana-electronics , based on high technology , satellites and new information technologies and enhancement of export potential . In this direction, entered into discussions of major joint projects with several multinational companies, the minister said at a Cabinet meeting on the socio -economic development in 2013.
The third task is expansion of information and transit services at the regional and international levels to strengthen cyber security in conjunction with relevant security structures. The fourth task is acceleration of the computerization of government services rendered to the population by relevant governmental institutions and businesses, and bringing to creation through the e-government portal. - 17D-
