Honey production over the year reduced by more than three times
On Saturday was opened the annual fair of honey, which will last for a month, according to the Ministry of Agriculture. According to Deputy Minister Seyfaddin Talibov, it is supposed to sell approximately 93 tons of delicious products, of which 21.7 tons are the reserves last year. Weather conditions affected the productivity : in 2015 were produced 250 tons, this year- 71.7 tons. There is a shortage among the participants - of 323 people who applied to the organizers, only 52 were allowed to sales. The Deputy Minister noted, in this regard stricter quality requirements. "At the fair have been installed cameras in order to prevent possible attempts to sell low-quality honey," he said. The quality of products also depends on output - the Ministry refused the "services" of bees-Métis and intends to develop on the basis of the scope of the Turkish media purebred nectar the productivity of which more.
