In August Azercell Installed 194 New Stations across Country
Only in August of this year, local mobile operator Azercell Telecom launched 194 new stations (RBS).
According to the release, RBS are expanding network coverage and improving the quality of services provided. Increasing the number of data stations will provide subscribers with more reliable and convenient connection anywhere in the country.
To date, all over the country there are 4087 stations installed Azercell Telecom.
Azercell continues to occupy the position of Azerbaijan's leading mobile operator by subscribers, as well as the quality of mobile communications. Azercell, which introduced a number of innovative concepts in Azerbaijan, also became a pioneer in the field of GSM technology, GPRS / EDGE network and 4G. Data on Azerbaijan's oil exports for January-October 2024 reveals a significant drop in both volume and value compared to the same period last year, highlighting the challenges facing the oil-dependent economy. The country exported 495,484.05 tons of oil products worth $309.02 million, a decrease of 40.3% in value and 40.7% in volume compared to 2023, when exports totaled 925,225.07 tons worth $572.21 million.
