In Azerbaijan, up to 700 enterprises are with Russian capital
The volume of Azerbaijan's investments in Russia is $1 billion, while Russia's investments in Azerbaijan reach $3 billion. These statistics were quoted by Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Sahib Mammadov during the meeting by the commission for economic and humanitarian cooperation between the governments of Azerbaijan and St. Petersburg. According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, 170 agreements on 50 economic spheres have been signed between the two countries. "About 700 enterprises with Russian capital operate in Azerbaijan. In 2016, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia increased by 10.5 percent and amounted to $ 2 billion. Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
