In Yerevan, discussions are underway regarding the benefits of cooperation with Azerbaijan

Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture Anar Guliyev, revealed ambitious plans for the new Istisu settlement on social media, following the foundation-laying ceremony attended by President Ilham Aliyev in Kalbajar on September 2, 2024.

As previously reported, the Istisu Mineral Water Plant was inaugurated on September 2, 2024, marking a significant advancement in Azerbaijan’s mineral water industry. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening of this cutting-edge facility, which blends modern technology with a deep-seated tradition in mineral water production.

In the village of Gyzyil Kengerli, located in Azerbaijan’s Agdam district, a significant agrarian development project is gaining momentum with Belarusian expertise at its core. This initiative was highlighted during a recent meeting between Anar Guliyev, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, and a delegation led by Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Nazaruk in Baku.

In a bid to accelerate its digital transformation and address global environmental challenges, Azerbaijan today hosted an international conference titled “Paperless Government: The Environmental Impact of Digitalization and Innovation.” Organized by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IRIA) in cooperation with the United Nations’ Azerbaijan office, the event is part of a broader series leading up to COP29, the 2024 UN Climate Change Conference.
