Iran and Turkey to renew agreement on energy carriers deliveries
Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz said that Turkey is not going to buy less than 105,000 barrels of Iranian oil a day.
Turkish TUPRAS oil refining company has earlier imported 130-140 barrels of Iranian oil a day, Minister said.
Turkey and Iran intend to renew the agreement on oil deliveries, because it has expired in August 2013.
Next year just like this year Turkey will buy about 5 million tons of oil in Iran (100,000 barrels a day).
In the past 10 years demand in energy carriers in Turkey has doubled and in the coming ten years it will double again, reported Iran.ru.—0—
